  1. Journal:
If I could live anywhere in the world, where would I live?
If I could live anywhere in the world, I would love to live in the countryside, preferably in a small cottage home where I can experience the 4 seasons. The fresh air and the peaceful quiet would be a nice change from the hustle and bustle of the city life. I would also have enough space to own a horse, which has been my dream since young. Also, the scenery in the countryside is beautiful, with lush green grass and flowers. My parents used to own a home in the countryside of Germany, however, they had sold it when they moved over to Singapore. Thus, I have never lived in that house before, since I was born here.
However, even if I could move to anywhere in the world, I would still prefer to stay in Singapore. Singapore, though it has no countrysides whatsoever, is where I had grown up in. I have many friends and fond memories here. Also, here in Singapore, places are almost always convenient to travel to, with the availability of taxis, Buses or MRTs. In countries such as Germany or Canada, you MUST have a car to survive. In fact, when I visited either of those countries, I’ve practically never saw a single taxi. However, in Singapore, taxis seem to zoom pass you every few minutes or so.
Singapore is also safer than most countries; most people don’t really do serious crimes such as murder around here. Supermarkets and drug stores abound and you can get whatever you need easily. You can also try out many different kinds of foods here, since we are a multi-lingual society.
In all, I feel that Singapore would always be my number one in my list of places to stay. I suppose that next time, when I have grown up, I might change my mind consider moving somewhere else. But for now, I will definitely stay here.
